Designing renewal tiles that survive a skeptical sales pod
By Amelia Tan
Account health tiles fail when they read like marketing dashboards. Sales pods discard them unless each tile links to rows they can challenge without embarrassment. We start workshops by listing the three questions that derail your current QBR, then wire tiles to answer only those.
In one Singapore-based operator, the breakthrough was renaming "engagement" to "depth lanes" tied to modules the sponsor actually funds. The language shift was tiny; the trust shift was not.
We still refuse to auto-send tiles to external sponsors. Human review stays in the loop until your team explicitly documents otherwise. That limitation costs speed and buys credibility.
Finally, we archive every tile version for ninety days so disagreements have a paper trail. It is operational hygiene, not spectacle.
